How we look after the details you give us through this website, in plain English.

Who we are

This website, for Nimbo Stay, is run by Nimbosoft Ltd ("we", "us"), a software company in North Norfolk. If you have any questions about your details, email info@nimbosoft.co.uk.

This policy covers stay.nimbosoft.co.uk. Using Nimbo Stay itself is covered by its own privacy notice, shown when your site is set up.

What we collect, and why

When you send us an enquiry. The form asks for your name, business, email address, and, if you choose, your phone number, how you'd like us to contact you and what you'd like to know about Nimbo Stay. We use these only to reply to you and talk about your site. The legal reason is that you asked us to (taking steps at your request before a possible contract). We also note the time and the internet (IP) address it came from, to stop spam and abuse.

When you email us. We keep your email and our reply so we can follow up.

Counting visitors. We count how many people visit each page, and which website sent them, so we know what's useful. We don't use cookies for this and we can't tell who you are: each visit is turned into a scrambled code that changes every day, and the key to it is deleted after two days. The legal reason is our legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used.

Cookies

This website doesn't use cookies. Things you choose here, such as light or dark mode, easier reading, or features you’ve added to a shortlist, are remembered by your browser on your own device, and so may anything you've typed into a form but not yet sent, so it's still there when you come back. They aren't sent to us, and you can clear them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Who else sees your details

• Hostinger runs the server this website is on, and our email.
• Google Fonts supplies the lettering on this website, so your browser fetches it from Google, which sees your internet address. Google's privacy policy covers this.

We never sell your details or use them for advertising.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and emails: for up to two years after we last spoke, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep them while you're a customer and for six years after (for our accounts). Visitor counts are kept as totals only.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. You can also object to us using them. Just email info@nimbosoft.co.uk; we'll reply within a month, and it's free.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
