Touring pitches that fit the unit

A touring park lives or dies on putting the right unit on the right pitch. In Nimbo Stay, each pitch has its type, size, hook-ups and hardstanding, and guests only see pitches that fit their unit, its length and their hook-up needs. They choose the exact pitch from a list or your site map.

The caravan park booking system behind it shows you the whole month on one chart, with colours for what is paid and what is owed, and members of your members’ club picked out in purple.

Regulars are most of the business

Established parks run on guests who come back every year. Nimbo Stay is built around that:

• Open next year to your regulars first, on a day you choose
• A “same time next year” button in the guest app, offered once next year is open
• An optional members’ club, with money off longer stays, an early start on next year’s booking and a free night every third visit of two nights or more
• Guests brought across from your old system sign in with an emailed link, so there is no password to remember

Static caravans and lodges on the same site

If part of your park is statics on owners’ plots, the same system keeps every plot and its owner in one place. You can raise everyone’s yearly pitch fee in one go, each plot at its own rate, with the VAT worked out. Owners get an email with a link and pay by card online, and the bill marks itself paid.

Quarterly electric and gas readings go in on one screen, next to last time’s. Usage and each owner’s bill are worked out for you, and a reading lower than last time is flagged for you to check, never billed. Arrivals at the gate

Put a number plate camera on the entrance and Nimbo Stay reads each car as it comes in. The guest turns green on today’s Arrivals list, so reception knows who is here before they reach the door. Cars on no booking are marked Unmatched. See number plate recognition for campsites and parks.

The team and the toilet blocks

Staff clock on from their own phones, and a cleaning board builds itself from your bookings: changeover cleans appear when a guest leaves, and toilet and shower block checks come up at the times you set. You see everyone’s hours and pay by week, month or season, and can export it for your accountant. More on staff, cleaning and timesheets.

Money, in one place

Guests pay a deposit online, and the balance can be taken by itself on the due date. Card payments go to your own Stripe account and are matched to the stay without you allocating anything. You can sell gas bottles, logs and extras from the shop with VAT, and money that comes in without a booking, like emptying the washing machines, is recorded in seconds and lands in the same VAT export.

Who it is for

Nimbo Stay is made for established campsites, touring caravan parks and campsites with statics: places with a reception, a team, regulars and thousands of bookings a season. It is not built for hotels or guest houses.
