Number plate recognition · Built into Nimbo Stay

Campsite ANPR: know who’s arrived, and who’s on site.

Put a camera on the entrance and Nimbo Stay reads every car that comes in. Guests with a booking are picked out at check-in, and anyone without one shows up straight away.

Today’s arrivals updates by itself

Arrivals, highlighted

  • A camera at the entrance reads each number plate as the car comes in
  • The plate is matched to its booking, even for groups arriving in more than one car
  • That guest turns green on today’s Arrivals list, so reception knows who’s here before they reach the door
  • The list updates by itself while it’s open. Nobody needs to press refresh
  • Switch on camera check-in and a guest due that day is checked in as they drive in. Leave it on all day, or only for the hours you choose, such as after reception closes
  • Camera check-out too, only in the hours before check-out time, so a trip to the shop doesn’t check anyone out
Today's Arrivals list in the Diary. Five guests whose number plates the entrance camera has already read are highlighted in green.
Today’s arrivals. The green rows are guests the camera has already seen driving in.

Keep tabs on the site

  • Every plate the camera reads is logged, with the time and which camera saw it
  • Cars that aren’t on any booking are marked Unmatched, so visitors stand out
  • Search for any plate, or show only the unmatched ones
  • If the camera misreads a plate, assign it to the right booking in two clicks
  • Old readings delete themselves after the number of days you choose

Works with a camera that can read number plates, or an ordinary IP camera with free plate-reading software such as Frigate. We’ll help you connect it.

The ANPR log: number plates read by the Entrance camera this morning, each matched to a guest and pitch, with two marked Unmatched.
This morning’s log. Two cars weren’t on any booking, so they’re marked Unmatched.
